“Metal roof” can mean many different profiles. Corrugated metal roofing is different from Trimdek, Klip-Lok, Spandek, standing seam and flat metal roofing. The skylight model and flashing method should be selected to suit the exact roof profile and roof pitch.
Standard VELUX flashing may suit some corrugated metal roof installations, while other metal roof profiles usually require custom Colorbond flashing, a custom back tray, raised base or site-specific flashing detail.
