Project overview

Before replacement

Existing skylights retained the right positions, but needed renewal

The photographs show established roof-window openings within a timber-lined upper level. The replacement project used these existing locations while updating the units, roof flashing, internal timber surrounds and blinds.

The invoice records removal and disposal of three old skylight assemblies. The photographs show four completed new units, but do not allow the reason for the differing removal quantity to be confirmed.

1

4

Opening and shading

Solar operation for ventilation and light control

The VSS units are opening roof windows rather than fixed skylights. This allowed the replacement to retain natural daylight while adding powered ventilation in the lounge and bedrooms.

Matching solar honeycomb blinds were installed to each skylight, providing a fitted shading solution without requiring visible electrical cabling in the photographs.
