Plan the Power Point Before the Shaft Is Finished
VSE comes complete with its electric motor, control system, rain sensor and a supplied 2 metre lead with plug. The plug connects to a standard GPO, which can be located in the roof space.

Electrical planning: the skylight motor is supplied ready to plug into a standard GPO. If a new power point is required, arrange the appropriate electrical work before the internal shaft and ceiling are closed.
Which Flashing Should You Use With VSE S06?
Flashing is sold separately. The VSE S06 must be paired with the correct S06 flashing for the actual roof material, profile and pitch.

Important: standard EDW is not suitable for wide-span metal profiles such as TRIMDEK® or KLIP-LOK®. If the roof is below 15°, the skylight needs a correctly designed raised / inclined detail to bring the unit to a suitable pitch.

Power & Remote Operation
VSE S06 comes with the motor, control system, rain sensor and a 2m lead with plug. The lead connects to a standard GPO that can be located in the roof space.
The included wireless keypad operates the skylight remotely, making this model especially useful for high or difficult-to-reach positions.
Flashing for VSE S06
Flashing is sold separately and must match the exact S06 size plus the roof profile and pitch.

Does VSE S06 need a power point?
Yes. VELUX supplies a 2m lead and plug for connection to a standard GPO, which may be located in the roof space.
Does it close when it rains?
Yes. The internally mounted rain sensor closes the skylight automatically when rain is detected while it is open.
Is flashing included?
No. Order size-matched flashing separately after confirming the roof profile and pitch.
Can it be used below 15°?
VELUX states that pitched-roof skylights below 15° need to be raised to 15° and custom flashed. Project conditions and compliance must be checked before proceeding.
Can I fit a solar blind?
Yes. Use the matching S06 FSCH or FSLH blind made for VS/VSE/VSS opening skylights.
What warranty applies?
VELUX Australia currently lists 10 years on skylights, flashings and glazing, and 3 years on blinds, accessories and electric controls.
