Description

The VELUX VSE C08 Electric Opening Skylight 550x1400mm is a tall motorised skylight for pitched roofs, designed for rooms that need stronger natural light, fresh air and easy remote operation. It suits bathrooms, laundries, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways, stairwells and deeper daylight zones. The electric motor is controlled by wireless keypad, making it ideal for out-of-reach locations. A built-in rain sensor automatically closes the skylight when rain is detected, while the insect screen helps keep airflow comfortable.

With a 407x1219mm internal glass size, approximately 0.50m² daylight area, 0.64m² ventilation area and approx. 31.93kg weight excluding flashing, VSE C08 is a strong daylight and airflow upgrade. Pair it with VELUX EDW flashing or VELUX Custom Flashing C08.

The VELUX VSE C08 electric opening skylight is designed for pitched roof homes where the room needs stronger daylight, fresh air and convenient remote operation.

Its white painted interior frame, grey aluminium exterior cappings, low-profile roof position, insect screen and rain sensor make it a premium upgrade for compact to medium rooms that need better ventilation control.

Electric vs manual vs solar

Choose VSE C08 when you want electric remote operation and you have a suitable nearby power point. It is ideal when the skylight is out of reach or used frequently.
