The VELUX VSE C01 Electric Opening Skylight 550x700mm is a compact motorised skylight for pitched roofs, designed to bring natural light, fresh air and remote-control convenience into bathrooms, laundries, walk-in robes, pantries, hallways, compact kitchens and smaller bedrooms. It includes a pre-installed electric motor, wireless keypad, insect screen and rain sensor that automatically closes the skylight when rain is detected. A minimum 15° roof pitch is required.

For tile roofs, VELUX EDW flashing can be used, while suitable custom flashing is available through the VELUX Custom Flashing C01. For other C01 options, compare FS C01 fixed, VS C01 manual or VSS C01 solar. Add a VELUX FSCH/FSLH blind or request a supply and install quote.

The VELUX VSE C01 is a compact electric opening skylight for pitched roofs, designed for rooms that need both daylight and fresh air. With remote operation, a pre-installed electric motor, rain sensor and insect screen, it is a polished ventilation upgrade for bathrooms, laundries, walk-in robes, pantries, hallways, compact kitchens and smaller bedrooms.

About the VELUX VSE C01

The VELUX VSE C01 electric opening skylight is designed for pitched roof homes where the room needs daylight, fresh air and convenient remote operation.

Its white painted interior frame, grey aluminium exterior cappings, low-profile roof position, insect screen and rain sensor make it a premium upgrade for compact rooms that need better ventilation control.

Electric vs manual vs solar

Choose VSE C01 when you want electric remote operation and you have a suitable nearby power point. It is ideal when the skylight is out of reach or used frequently.

For simpler opening, compare VS C01 manual opening. For wireless powered operation without a hard-wired skylight motor, compare VSS C01 solar opening.

VSE C01 installation depends on roof pitch, roof profile, rafter spacing, water flow, flashing selection and power point location. The skylight requires a minimum 15° roof pitch, or an inclined flashing detail if used on lower-pitch situations.

Before ordering, confirm whether your roof is tiled, corrugated, TrimDeck, Kliplok or another metal profile so the correct C01 flashing can be matched to the skylight.
