VELUX FSCC Solar Honeycomb Blind for FCM, VCM & VCS
Price range: $541.93 through $621.90
The VELUX FSCC Solar Honeycomb Room-Darkening Blind is the current solar blind family for compatible FCM, VCM and VCS flat-roof skylights. It provides approximately 98% light reduction and 70% heat reduction, is solar powered and includes a wireless wall-mounted keypad. FCM fixed skylights require the matching ZZZ 199 blind tray; VCM and VCS do not. FSCC is currently available in 11 sizes, with exact FCM/VCM/VCS compatibility varying by code.
VELUX FSCC Solar Honeycomb Blind for Flat-Roof Skylights
FSCC is the current room-darkening solar blind for compatible VELUX flat-roof skylights. The most important buying step is not only choosing the size — it is confirming whether your skylight is FCM, VCM or VCS, because FCM requires a separate ZZZ 199 blind tray.

Why the ZZZ 199 Tray Matters
FSCC requires the matching ZZZ 199 blind tray. Order the tray by the same flat-roof size code.
- Blind + matching tray
- Confirm orientation/install detail
- Do not assume the blind alone is a complete FCM kit
No FCM ZZZ 199 tray is required for the compatible opening flat-roof skylight.
- Match exact size code
- Solar blind has its own power system
- Blind does not change skylight opening method
FSCC Is Honeycomb Room Darkening
The current Australian flat-roof blind range does not list an FSLH/FSLD-style translucent alternative for FCM/VCM/VCS. Remove the current Central copy describing a “Pleated Translucent Blind” from this product page.
