Yes. The estimate is free and there’s no obligation to proceed. It’s designed to help you understand the likely installation cost before arranging the next step.
Do I need to know which VELUX model to choose?
The tool lets you select from VELUX fixed and opening skylight options. If you’re unsure which model, size or configuration is suitable, call us for guidance or book a home visit before relying on the estimate.
Do I have to take photos or measure my roof?
No. Photos are optional when starting your estimate. Clear room, ceiling and roof photos can help our team verify more complicated projects. Never climb onto your roof to take photos for an enquiry.
Does the estimate include framing and plastering?
You can choose the ceiling finish for each skylight, including plastered finishes or options without internal plastering. Check the selections and resulting scope carefully. Painting is not included unless it is separately specified in a final written quote.
Is the emailed price a final fixed quotation?
No. It is an initial estimate based on your selections. The final written quotation may differ after we verify the roof, flashing, structure, site access, services and required work. We’ll explain any changes before you make a booking decision.
What if I only want to buy skylights without installation?
This estimator is for supply-and-install projects. For supply-only VELUX skylights, roof flashings and trade orders, please use our online shop or trade ordering page.
