Triple VELUX FS C08 Skylight Installation in Blackburn South
A major residential daylighting project combining three side-by-side VELUX FS fixed skylights in the living and dining area with four rigid-shaft VELUX sun tunnels for the hallway and bathroom.

Seven daylight openings across the home
The main feature is a triple bank of VELUX FS C08 fixed skylights, each measuring 550 × 1400 mm. Four VELUX TWR rigid-shaft sun tunnels were also installed in the hallway and bathroom, creating a coordinated daylighting solution across both large and compact internal spaces.

Opening three ceiling bays for one wide skylight feature
The original ceiling had no large daylight opening. Additional framing and plaster work was required to open two extra bays so three long VELUX skylights could sit side by side as one coordinated feature.
Roof-space photographs show timber trusses, insulation, ductwork and services. These conditions were considered before the openings, framing and shaft linings were formed.
