The kitchen received a VELUX FS fixed skylight in C06 size. The 550 × 1180 mm unit was installed into the tiled pitched roof using the matching EDW flashing system.

Bathroom, ensuite and butler’s pantry
Two older flexible sun tubes were removed and replaced with rigid, highly reflective 350 mm VELUX TWR sun tunnels. The butler’s pantry received a compact 400 × 400 mm square hybrid skylight.

The previous round light point gave way to a long, clean plaster shaft aligned above the main kitchen zone.
The bathroom’s old flexible system was replaced with a rigid VELUX tunnel and a neat internal diffuser.
The finished ensuite is brighter while keeping the compact round ceiling footprint suited to the room.
Correct systems for a concrete tiled roof
On a pitched tiled roof, the skylight and flashing need to work together. This project used the matching VELUX EDW C06 flashing around the FS C06 skylight, while purpose-made roof modules were used for the rigid sun tunnels.
